Ingredients

For 4 servings.

  • 400 g minced lamb
  • 1 pcs eggs
  • 1 pcs onion
  • 40 g butter
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

How to make it

  1. Chop the onion finely.
  2. Stir the mince together with the egg, onion, salt and pepper.
  3. Shape small balls with a spoon, so they are the same size and finish at the same time.
  4. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the balls for 10-12 minutes, turning them as you go.
  5. Pour the pan juices over the balls and serve them at once.

Why it is easy

  • One pan or pot — and so one thing to wash up
  • Can be made in a double batch and frozen or kept
  • Leaves enough for another day
  • Freezes well

Calculated from the ingredients using figures from Frida (the National Food Institute at the Technical University of Denmark), by the same code the app uses. The calories are rounded to the nearest ten, because home cooking lands within about ±30 % — a number with more digits would promise a precision it does not have. No judgement is attached to these figures, and none is coming.
