Chicken thighs with orange

Chicken thighs in the oven with orange slices tucked between them. The skin turns crisp, the juices sweet.

  • 1000 g chicken thighs
  • 3 pcs orange
  • 30 g butter
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

How to make it

  1. Heat the oven to 200 degrees and let it preheat for about 10 minutes.
  2. Cut the oranges into slices.
  3. Lay the thighs in a dish skin side up, dot the butter over, tuck the orange slices between them and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Roast for 40-45 minutes, until the skin is crisp.
  5. Serve straight from the dish with the juices from the bottom spooned over.
