Crisp chicken with chips and cucumber salad

Chicken fried crisp, chips from the oven, and a sweet-sour cucumber salad that cuts through it.

40 minutes in total — 15 minutes of preparation and 25 minutes on the hob or in the oven. Written for 4 servings.

Ingredients

For 4 servings.

  • 400 g chicken
  • 800 g chips
  • 300 g cucumber
  • 75 ml vinegar
  • 40 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

How to make it

  1. Heat the oven to 200 degrees and let it preheat for about 10 minutes.
  2. Cut the cucumber into paper-thin slices, and cut the chicken into large pieces.
  3. Stir the vinegar and sugar together, turn the cucumber slices in it and put them in the fridge.
  4. Bake the chips in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
  5. Fry the chicken in the oil in the pan for 8-10 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
  6. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and serve it with the chips and cucumber salad.
