Fried pork belly with apples

Crisp pork belly, and apples fried afterwards in the fat the pork gave off.

For 4 servings.

  • 600 g pork belly
  • 3 pcs apple
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

How to make it

  1. Cut the apples into wedges and remove the cores.
  2. Fry the pork belly in the pan for 12-15 minutes, until crisp, and lift it out.
  3. Fry the apple wedges in the pork fat for 5-6 minutes, until soft at the edges.
  4. Season the apples with salt and pepper.
  5. Lay the pork on top of the apples, so it stays crisp.
