Mussels in cream
A pot of mussels that open in cream and onion and make their own sauce.

Ingredients
For 4 servings.
- 1000 g mussels
- 250 ml cream
- 1 pcs onion
- 30 g butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
How to make it
- Rinse the mussels and discard any that do not close. Chop the onion finely.
- Sweat the onion in the butter in a large pot for 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the cream and let it warm through for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the mussels, put on the lid and steam them for 5-6 minutes, until they have opened.
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper and discard any mussels that are still closed.
- Serve the mussels in their own sauce.
