Pasta with meat sauce

A meat sauce that simmers for ten minutes while the pasta boils. The leftovers only get better.

Ingredients

For 4 servings.

  • 500 g pasta
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 2 tbsp tomato purée
  • 2 pcs onion
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

How to make it

  1. Chop the onions finely.
  2. Cook the pasta in plenty of water as the packet says, typically 9-11 minutes.
  3. Heat the oil in a pot and fry the onion and minced beef for 6-8 minutes.
  4. Stir in the tomato purée, loosen with a little of the pasta water and let the sauce simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Season the meat sauce with salt and pepper and fold in the pasta.
