Black bean burgers with lettuce and tomato

Home-made bean patties in burger buns.

30 minutes in total — 15 minutes of preparation and 15 minutes on the hob or in the oven. Written for 4 servings.

Ingredients

For 4 servings.

  • 2 can black beans
  • 4 pcs burger buns
  • 200 g lettuce
  • 2 pcs tomato
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

How to make it

  1. Rinse the black beans and mash them with salt and pepper.
  2. Shape the bean mash into four patties.
  3. Cut the tomatoes into slices.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bean patties for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  5. Put the patties in the buns with lettuce and tomato and press them lightly together.
