gluten-free · contains fish

Ingredients

For 4 servings.

  • 300 g prawns
  • 200 ml cream
  • 15 g flour
  • 25 g butter
  • 4 slices bread
  • 2 tbsp dill
  • 1 pcs lemon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

How to make it

  1. Chop the dill finely and halve the lemon.
  2. Toast the slices of bread in a dry pan for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  3. Melt the butter in a pot for 1-2 minutes and stir in the flour.
  4. Slowly loosen with the cream and let the sauce cook through for 4-5 minutes, until thick.
  5. Fold in the prawns and let them warm through for 2-3 minutes — no longer, or they go rubbery.
  6. Squeeze the lemon over, season with salt, pepper and dill, and spoon the sauce over the toast.

Calculated from the ingredients using figures from Frida (the National Food Institute at the Technical University of Denmark), by the same code the app uses. The calories are rounded to the nearest ten, because home cooking lands within about ±30 % — a number with more digits would promise a precision it does not have. No judgement is attached to these figures, and none is coming.
