Pasta with chicken and soft onions
Onions sweated long enough to turn sweet, chicken browned off, and pasta folded in at the end.

Ingredients
For 4 servings.
- 300 g chicken
- 500 g pasta
- 2 pcs onion
- 2 tbsp tomato purée
- 150 ml cream
- 1000 ml water
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
How to make it
- Cut the chicken into strips and the onions into half rings.
- Cook the pasta in plenty of water as the packet says, typically 9-11 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a pan and sweat the onions for 8-10 minutes, until soft and sweet.
- Turn up the heat and brown the chicken strips along for 5-6 minutes.
- Stir in the tomato purée and cream and let the sauce reduce for 4-5 minutes.
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper and fold in the well-drained pasta.
