Steak with oven potatoes and carrots

The potatoes and carrots do the work in the oven while the steaks are fried off at the end.

Ingredients

For 4 servings.

  • 400 g beef steak
  • 1000 g potatoes
  • 400 g carrots
  • 80 g butter
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

How to make it

  1. Heat the oven to 200 degrees and let it preheat for about 10 minutes.
  2. Cut the potatoes into wedges and the carrots into batons.
  3. Turn them in half the melted butter in a dish and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Roast them for 35-40 minutes, until the potatoes are crisp at the edges.
  5. Fry the steaks in the rest of the butter in a pan for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Season the steaks, let them rest for a moment and lay them on top of the vegetables.
